RESIDUAL CURRENT CIRCUIT BREAKERS
General

Sigma RCCBs are protection devices that can protect the human life against dangerous electrical shocks or can prevent the fires occured from isolation failures by stating the possible isolation failures before. Sigma RCCBs are produced as 2 and 4 poles according to TS EN 61008-1 and CE standards under ISO9001-2008 quality management systems.
Classification
4 basic factor are to be taken into consideration while choosing SİGMA Residual Current Circuit Breakes
• Level of Residual Current
30 mA RCCB is to be used in order to protect the human life against direct/indirect touch and 300 mA RCCB is to be used for fire protection
• Number of Poles
2 poles are used İn mono phase network system and 4 poles are used in three phase network system
• Rated Current
The rated current of Residual Current Circuit Breakers should be the same as or higher than MCB/MCCB connected before RCCB. The passing Current inside the RCCB should be lower than the nominal rated current of RCCB.
• Selectivity
RCCBs are produced as G (general type) and S (delay type).
