MOULDED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKERS
General
Sigma’s Low Voltage Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB) are produced as 1, 3 and 4 poles from 25 A to 1600 Aaccording to TS 1058 EN 60947-2 and CE standards. MCCBs are used for protecting the circuits that have different load characteristics (cables, motors, lighting, generators)
MCCB fulfill four different functions.
• Turn on and turn off the circuit
• Protection against overload
• Protection against short-circuit current
• Protection against earth leakage current (with combination of the earth leakage relay and toroidal transformers)
